‘On Manifesta 12’;
‘Palermo Atlas Appendix’ 2018

‘On Manifesta 12’ was a reactionary engagement with the city of Palermo based on a week’s observations of the city as it played host to Manifesta 12. It was featured in ‘Palermo Atlas Appendix’.
We created new points of interest on 50 maps of ‘Manifesta 12’ to be distributed among paying visitors. The newly created points created moments to observe the city, as a direct response to the lack of integration between the local community, city and event. The shift in focus brought attention to the political and social struggles within the city.
